This policy applies to Perkulo and other serverless applications developed by Noubug Technologies.
We believe in privacy by design. Our applications are built to operate without a dedicated backend server, meaning your data stays on your device or within your personal cloud accounts (e.g., iCloud). We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
1. Perkulo Privacy Policy
Perkulo is designed to store your loyalty cards, gift cards, and coupons. Here is how we handle your data:
A. Data Collection & Storage
- No Backend Tracking: We do not operate a server that collects your card numbers, location, or usage habits. We have no access to the data you enter into the app.
- Local Storage: All card data (barcodes, images, numbers) is stored locally on your device.
- iCloud Sync: If you enable “Cloud Backup,” your data is securely transferred directly to your personal Apple iCloud container using Apple’s CloudKit technology. This data is encrypted by Apple and is only accessible by you. We cannot view or decrypt this data.
B. Device Permissions
- Camera: Perkulo requests access to your camera solely to scan barcodes and QR codes for adding cards. No image data is sent to external servers; all processing happens on-device.
- Photo Library: If you choose to upload a custom image for a card, we request access to your photo library to select that specific image.
C. Analytics
We do not use third-party behavioral tracking (like Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics). We may use anonymous, aggregated metrics provided by Apple (App Store Connect) to see crash reports or installation counts, which contain no personally identifiable information.

Data Retention & Deletion
Since we do not store your data on our servers, you have complete control over your information:
- To delete your data: Simply delete the card within the app or delete the app entirely from your device.
- To delete cloud backups: Navigate to your device’s iCloud settings (Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage) and delete the data associated with the app.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because we do not process your personal data on our servers:
- Right to Access: You already possess all your data on your device.
- Right to Erasure: Deleting the app erases the data.
- Data Portability: Your data is stored in your iCloud account, which you own.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
